2006 Racing Season at Barona Speedway

Welcome to the Wolverine Racing Blog!

2006 Racing Season Begins at Barona Speedway!

Well, the racing season began April 15th at Barona Speedway, and it promptly began with a cancellation due to the rain! What a way to start the season!

So, for those of us who showed up anyway, and wouldn't leave the track till we had our due... (We're the ones who love the sport so much, that when it rains all we see is mud, and there's nothing like racing in the mud! Sliding around a dirt track becomes an amusement park ride in the rain!) ... we were allowed to practice. And what a ball we had in the Barona clay! There's not much that can equal that fun, I tell ya what!

On behalf of the Wolverine Racing Team, I invite all you racing fans to come on out and support the racing teams at Barona Speedway. Bring your family and the camping gear and make a night of it at the camp grounds. Can't wait to see you when we start the season once more April 30th!

Our thanks to the Barona Speedway for providing a track for the motor racing teams in and around
San Diego County!

Wolverine Racing now at Barona Speedway.

Many San Diegans are mourning the lost of the Cajon Speedway, and are wondering what to do with their Saturday nights, now that the racers have been removed.

Luckily, not too far away from the lost Cajon Speedway, is the Barona Speedway! Just go to the Barona Casino, and rather than turning left, stay on Wildcat Canyon Rd. You will venture through the Barona Indian Reservation, and about 4.8 miles down the road, is the BIG EVENT!

Every other Saturday, can once again entertain those who's need for speed brings them to the races! Only now it's at Barona, and on dirt!!!
